Using ICE Desktop select the desired discipline and then ‘Test not listed’. A prompt will require the user to enter details relevant to the request i.e. test, container type etc. Please remember to note the required specimen(s) on the request form for any tests entered in this box as only pre-configured tests automatically display the specimen type on the form.
Within the search function please enter the required test and specified container as outlined in the Pathology Handbook. Any further information deemed pertinent to the request can be included here if necessary.
