Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services (BSPS), one of the first NHS pathology networks to be established in 1998, is now one of the largest in the country. We are driven to provide a patient centred service which provides safe, high quality, clinically led diagnostics.

BSPS is a contractual joint venture between Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals, Frimley Health, Royal Berkshire, and Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts.

The BSPS complete service model is based on a multi-site strategy, centred on two main pathology hubs, with a number of spokes containing specialist services serving five acute hospital sites, as well as numerous CCGs and private clients.
